Amy Lor, LAc, EAMP., Dipl. O.M., graduated from Bastyr University, a regionally accredited, globally respected institution of natural health arts and sciences, with a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She was drawn to medicine through her own health challenges.
Her very first health problem that she sought acupuncture treatment for was low back pain. She had severe low back pain during pregnancy. With two treatments her low back pain resolved and never came back throughout her pregnancy.
She have used Chinese medicine to effectively treat many health concerns. Damian McCleod is a NY state licensed acupuncturist and has a Masters of Science Degree in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM). Damian’s introduction to the actual practice of acupuncture came after having undergone his second reconstructive knee surgery. At the suggestion of his fellow martial artist and graduate of PCOM, he started receiving acupuncture treatments at the college’s clinic. After having first hand proof of the power of acupuncture, he dedicated himself to the pursuit of Chinese Medicine.
A major influence in his studies came from the martial arts, which he has been a practitioner of since 1993. Damian currently works with martial artist and other athletes in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, with a focus knee pain.
Part of Damian’s philosophy on medicine stems from his undergraduate education; he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. His view is, understanding the complex is a matter of having a firm grasp of the fundamentals. Marcia is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Her doctoral work specialized in Family Medicine with an emphasis in pain management and mental health. Her internship began at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2005, after graduation in 2008 she went into private practice treating a wide range of ages and health concerns. She holds a national diplomatic certificate in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as well as a California, Ohio and Illinois state license. Patricia Lew is a licensed acupuncture in the State of Texas. She is licensed to practice acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She also practices NAET (Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Technique) in San Antonio and Alamo Heights.
