Marcia is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Her doctoral work specialized in Family Medicine with an emphasis in pain management and mental health. Her internship began at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2005, after graduation in 2008 she went into private practice treating a wide range of ages and health concerns. She holds a national diplomatic certificate in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as well as a California, Ohio and Illinois state license. I completed my extensive education and training in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine culminating in a Masters Degree in Acupuncture through the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) in Newton, MA.
As an Intern, I practiced Acupuncture at New England School of Acupuncture Teaching Center Clinic, Boston Medical Center Family outpatient center, Winchester Hospital Family Medical Center, Malden Family Medicine Center and Element Care in Lynn, Mass. My extensive training consisted of over 700 hours of direct patient practice.
I have successfully treated conditions such as migraines, headaches, back pain, hip pain, knee pain, asthma, anxiety, shoulder pain, neck pain, mild to moderate depression, smoking cessation, digestive issues, endometriosis, TMJ and more.
