Over a 30 year period, Dr. Jeff McConnell has developed an approach to healing that blends both Western and Eastern views of the structure and function of the body and mind. My journey as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner started in 1994 when I met a monk in Taiwan who taught me about meditation, cleansing, food healing, calligraphy and Chinese health practices. For 10 years, I travelled around the world studying natural healing and classical Asian martial arts from various masters, healers and schools.

I graduated from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in British Columbia with a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, modelled after the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine curriculum.

I’ve been in clinic practice for over 10 years in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. I am a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medical Practitioners and Acupuncturists in Ontario under the following number: 2807. I currently see patients at The Village Clinic in Westboro.

I teach weekly Qigong and Chen Style Tai Chi classes at Aylmer Qigong and Tai Chi and I hold regular at workshops, lectures, webinars and events on health and well-being.

I also lecture and write on child developmental psychology and behaviour using traditional Chinese medicine. I am the author of the book Democratic Parenting and the creator of The ADHD Transformation Program.

I have advanced training in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Therapy, Dietary Recommendations, Qigong/Tai Chi, and Traditional Chinese Medical Psychology.

For patients who want to avoid surgeries and heavy medication, we are a medical group that offers a natural healing solution to those in need. We also provide preventative programs to maintain wellness and promote healthy lifestyles. ​We integrate acupuncture, Chinese herbs, nutrition, energy practice, meditation, and massage therapy to seamlessly work together in conjunction with modern medicine. It is also our mission to help demystify Traditional Chinese Medicine and ease your concerns by providing educational materials and lectures.

Using ancient medicine with modern wisdom, I strive to help my patients achieve their health goals. My ultimate goal is to prevent diseases and illness from arising. Through detailed discussion about ones health history, I gain a clearer understanding into how an individuals body works and create a treatment plan specifically for them.
