Is a native Coloradoan and has lived in the Southwest coner of Denver for the last 25 years. He studied Molecular Biology and Physics at Colorado State University and Metropolitan State College of Denver receiving a Bachelor of Science. Paul has also obtained his teaching license from MetropolitanState College of Denver and has taught in Englewood, Aurora and Denver Public Schools.
Paul earned his Masters of Acupuncture from Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is continuing his education and training in acupuncture from one of the most prominet acupuncturist of Colorado; who has treated over 80,000 patients and developed an effective and consistent system for diagnosising and treating a wide varity of illnesses and diseases. Helen Castro earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1992. She earned a Masters of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2007. This 3 1/2 year program consisted of 2,800 hours of education and clinical practice. Helen also completed an additional 3 year apprenticeship program in Five Element Acupuncture. Further, Helen completed internships in Neurology, Tuina, and Dermatology at Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in Harbin, China. Sandy Root, AP, L.Ac., MSTOM, a FL & NY State Licensed Acupuncturist, graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York with her Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2009.
Sandy had clinical experience practicing acupuncture at the Saint Vincent’s Hospital -HIV Clinic, the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases – Initiative for Women with Disabilities, NYU Medical Center, and Pacific College Acupuncture Clinic, and now her own practice in Miami Beach, FL. She graduated with a MA in oriental medicine and therapy from Southern California University.
