Elizabeth is a registered acupuncturist in Michigan with a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine from World Medicine Institute in Honolulu, Hawaii, and is also a Nationally Certified Diplomate in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine). In Traditional Chinese Medicine, disease contains two parts analogous to the roots and branches of a tree. The symptoms are like branches, and if you only treat them, the same roots will soon grow the same symptoms again.
