Moon Hill Acupuncture is located in the North Center neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Ashlie R Martin, L.Ac., Dipl.O.M. works with women during their fertility, pregnancy, and motherhood journey. She offers physical and emotional support as they traverse the various phases of conceiving, being pregnant, and healing from birth. Ashlie offers in-home treatments during the postpartum period and in the event of bed rest. Ashlie also treats a variety of other issues including digestive problems, migraines, insomnia, injury recovery, and emotional concerns such as grief, anxiety, depression, and stress. Meghan is a licensed acupuncturist with national board certifications in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She received her master’s degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she is currently obtaining a doctorate. Her clinical experience includes work at Columbia University Health Services, Mount Sinai-Beth Israel Integrative Oncology, and Housing Works. She travelled to China for advanced study at the International Acupuncture Training Center, an institute recognized by the World Health Organization, with clinical rounds at the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Beijing.

Meghan continues to deepen her skills and knowledge in Eastern medicine, mind-body connection, and energy healing. Her areas of interest include women’s health and gynecological conditions, digestive disorders, stress and anxiety, and pain relief. She supports her patients wherever they are on their healing journey with compassionate listening and commitment to care. Following the Chinese principle of shenming, “radiance of spirit,” her mission is to inspire others to practice self-care and overcome dis-ease by harmonizing body, mind, and spirit.

It all started in the New York City area in 80's when Dr. McCormick was completing undergraduate coursework in biochemistry and other pre-medical studies. During his four years as a pre-med student, he worked as an assistant and apprentice to acupuncture and naturopathic doctors, graduating from various programs in Eastern and Western styles of manual therapies including naprapathy. After completing his undergraduate degree in public health, he went on to graduate from both a masters and doctoral program at one of the country's top natural medicine colleges in Portland, Oregon. As a doctoral fellow he was an acupuncturist intern at Oregon Health Sciences University Pain Center. He was also an intern at a World Health Organization (WHO) integrative medicine hospital in Nanjing, China. Since then, he's traveled the globe learning new techniques to help others with natural options for their healthcare. Dr. McCormick has completed apprenticeships and post-graduate clinical work with naturopathic physicians, naprapaths, medical doctors, osteopaths, Oriental and Ayrvedic medicine doctors along with various other world renowned practitioners in the natural medicine field. He is motivated by a desire to provide complementary care including alternatives to surgery and drugs. Dr. McCormick's practice provides several natural therapy options that address a wide range of health and wellness concerns.
