In Traditional Chinese Medicine, disease contains two parts analogous to the roots and branches of a tree. The symptoms are like branches, and if you only treat them, the same roots will soon grow the same symptoms again. To effectively heal, one must address the root cause of the of illness so the tree may grow healthy branches. Acupuncture, studied Acupuncture at the Swedish School of Acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapy at the Eastern School of Oriental Medicine, and received classical training from world master Jeffrey Yuen. He comes from a family of Chinese medical doctors and follows his family tradition in Chinese medicine.
Michael cares for a variety of patients of all ages and needs for both acute and chronic health concerns. He is dedicated to the patient’s needs as he employs a variety of modalities in addition to acupuncture including cupping, guasha and moxabustion, as well as employing Chinese herbs. He is licensed in both New Jersey and New York.
In addition to his acupuncture and Eastern medicine education and training, Michael holds an M.B.A from Duke University.
Michael has appointment availability during weekdays and evenings as well as on Saturday mornings.
