Hilton Acupuncture is owned by Licensed Acupuncturist and Mount Pleasant native Dr. Monica L. Hilton, DACM, Dipl. O.M., L.Ac. Dr. Monica has over ten years of experience as a Licensed Acupuncturist. She is a nationally certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed to practice in the states of South Carolina and Georgia.

Dr. Monica provides treatment for various conditions including but not limited to acute and chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia, night sweats, hot flashes, digestive issues, and vision disorders. She has a special interest in fibromyalgia, stress management, and autoimmune disorders.

Abigail obtained her Bachelors of Science from the University of Maine. She continued on to earn her Masters in Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture. Abigail is trained in both Chinese and Japanese acupuncture styles, Orthopedic acupuncture, and Shakuju. With this range of treatment styles, she is able to meet a broad range of patient needs. Whether you have a stubborn musculoskeletal complaint, or are overcome with anxiety, whether you are a seasoned acupuncture patient or are terrified of needles, she will be able to offer you a variety of treatment plan options (even non-insertive techniques!).

With a passion for further education, Abigail is currently working towards her Masters of Science in Pain Research, Education, and Policy through Tufts University School of Medicine. Using Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, lifestyle modification, and her Western medical training, Abigail supports the release and management of both physical and emotional pain.
