Monica attended Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Los Angeles, California and completed their four year Master of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine program with honors. Karen Lang, MSW, LAc is a graduate of Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine and a nationally certified acupuncturist.
As a classically trained acupuncturist Karen crafts individual treatment plans to help each patient achieve his or her own health goals. Using acupuncture and other Chinese Medicine modalities, Karen collaborates with patients to re-establish their body’s natural ability to thrive.
Karen’s background is in social work. She spent the past 20 years working in sexual assault response and prevention at local, state and national levels. Seeking a more holistic approach to facilitating health and well-being Karen was drawn to study acupuncture. Karen is also an avid runner and cyclist and has found acupuncture to be an important tool for staying healthy, recovering quickly and resolving strains, sprains and other injuries.
