Mrs. Sparks is nationally certified by NCCAOM and is licensed to practice acupuncture by the Ohio and Kentucky Medical Boards. Mrs. Sparks has over 26 years experience in acupuncture and medical research. She specializes in pain relief, including neck, shoulder, back, and joint pain, frozen shoulder, sciatica, headaches, migraines, painful menses, stroke paralysis, Bell's palsy, depression, anxiety, insomnia, hypertension, gastrointestinal issues, arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, OB/Gyn disorders.

Mrs. Sparks was trained as a physician in China in both western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, with a specialty in acupuncture. She graduated from Yunan university of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1985, and then completed 2 years of advanced acupuncture training. Early in Mrs. Sparks' career she worked under the supervision of Zunxin Guan, one of foremost acupuncture experts in Yunan, China. Later on Mrs. Sparks was a principal clinical researcher running projects funded by China's Bureau of Traditional Chinese medicine and material medica. Mrs. Sparks also worked seven years at the University of Cincinnati College of medicine in cardiology research. Overall she has been involved in Acupuncture practice, Chinese herbal medicine, and biomedical research more than 26 years.

Robert P. Abrahamson O.M.D., L.Ac. (AZ, CA), Dipl.Ac. (NCCAOM) is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine with 42 years experience in the art of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. He is both state and nationally certified, and has been working in beautiful West Sedona for the past 23 years.

Dr. Abrahamson studied in San Francisco, England, India and China. He practices Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), as well as Tibetan, Japanese, Korean, Tung and Five Element Constitutional acupuncture.

Robert has taught Acupuncture, Shiatsu and QiGong trainings in Europe, Asia and the United States. He teaches herbal medicine on the post-graduate level, and loves to inspire his patients to take medicinal herbs.

He is also certified in Metaphysical Healing. and is

Dr. Abrahamson’s sessions are a unique experience. He incorporates single-use, ultra-thin stainless steel needles, needleless (cold laser) treatment, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, Tui-na therapeutic massage, dietary therapy, aromatherapy, life-style counseling, Aura-Soma chromotherapy and QiGong exercises with humor and compassion.

With additional training in Dr. Tans Balance Method, Master Tung style and theory of acupuncture, interning with Dr. Chow Chen, certification in Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture and Macular Degeneration treatments to reverse and prevent continued degeneration of advancing eye diseases, Dr. Burger has a well rounded education and almost 28 years of clinical experience in the Chinese medical field of Traditional and Pre-Traditional Chinese Medicine. From 2011-2022 Dr. Burger moved her practice to beautiful Maui, Hawaii. In August of 2022, Dr. Burger moved her practice back to Mesa, AZ and has resumed a very successful practice in North Mesa at Red Mountain. Dr. Burger has also incorporated the use of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to enhance and expedite the overall results of acupuncture treatments as well as enhance and promoting collagen and keratin production for anti aging and cosmetic facial acupuncture.
