More:

Through visiting patients who suffered from failed conventional treatments, medication addiction, drug side effects and also surgical complications, Mehrdad was motivated to seek for a less invasive, more effective and safer option to help them, which he discovered while being a volunteer in an Acupuncture clinic in Glendale, California.

He found the ability of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine to help patients deal with their health issues. He realized in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), by applying basic medical history, physical exams, checking tongue and pulse and also interestingly without ordering costly diagnostic tests, the right diagnosis and optimal treatment can be achieved.

After earning his Medical Doctorate (M.D.) degree, he practiced Medicine in Iran for 6 years. In US, by passing all Steps of USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination) and receiving ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) Certification and furthermore by spending 2 years of Clinical Research in USC (University of Southern California), Mehrdad updated his knowledge in Basic and Clinical Sciences.

By spending 3 years of study at SBU (South Baylo University), one of top school of TCM in US, Mehrdad graduated with Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MSAOM) degree to follow his passion in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

All these achievements have given him the confidence to combine Western Medicine with Oriental Medicine in order to reach the best possible result for his patients.

He is now ready to help patients by incorporating years of the highest levels of education and extensive clinical experiences in Allopathic medicine and also in Alternative and Complementary Medicine.

Mehrdad believes in balancing energy in the body and addressing the whole person as body, mind and spirit. Choose your best, first!
