may I take a little of your time to tell you a little of my story? If you answered yes, read on. My introduction to acupuncture was due to a traumatic accident about twenty-two years ago. I injured my left neck/shoulder/arm and sciatic nerve in 1993 so I could not work as an EMT because I could not lift any thing heavier than a loaf of bread. After trying allopathic medicine for a year, the doctors told me that I would never heal so just learn to live with what left arm and leg movement remained. That's when I decided to try massage school. My injuries did start to heal with daily treatments over a years time but I wanted more pain relief and more strength in my arm and leg so I did more research and decided to start acupuncture school. That turned out to be the best decision of my life. Not only did my left arm and leg get well and pain free, (the muscles that had atrophied returned to their pre injury size) and best of all my pain was gone! The biggest blessing of all was that I found my life's passion. I became an acupuncturist and herbalist to share this healing art with my family and friends. Ali Sherbiny, M.Ac.O.M., L.Ac. is a nationally certified and Virginia Board of Medicine-licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a private practice in Arlington, Virginia.
He received his Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ASOM).
His experience includes integrative treatment, community acupuncture, as well as private practice. His practice specializes in the treatment of pain, insomnia, chronic fatigue, and stress-related effects on the body and combines acupuncture with bodywork (Tui Na massage) and cupping to achieve his clinical results.
His continuing education coursework has included study of the Tung family lineage style of acupuncture with Richard Tan, Brad Whisnant, and Henry McCann and food medicine (Chinese & Western Nutrition) with Dr. Ardeschir Mehrabani, NMD, Noemi Quintanar, NMD, RM, MT, and Dr. Marlene Merritt, LAc, DOM, MS Nutrition. Most recently he studied with Thea Elijah, LAc, former director of the Chinese Herbal Studies Program at TAI Sophia Institute, for a deeper understanding and embodiment of 5-element medicine.
Prior to his graduate studies at ASOM, he studied organic farming as an apprentice under a master gardener and worked in organic food sales with Green Star Farms in Blacksburg, VA.

Euna Jang’s experience in oriental medicine expands over 25 years. She was born in Seoul and has been practicing acupuncture for over 10years in Korea before she moved to United States. She graduated with a MA in oriental medicine and therapy from Southern California University. Currently, she lives with her family here in Georgia and is a Georgia registered acupuncture therapist who is bringing good health and relief to many people.
