My name is Patty Johnson and my office is in Rancho Cucamonga CA. I'm listed as Patty Johnson's Acupuncture and Herbs.
may I take a little of your time to tell you a little of my story? If you answered yes, read on. My introduction to acupuncture was due to a traumatic accident about twenty-two years ago. I injured my left neck/shoulder/arm and sciatic nerve in 1993 so I could not work as an EMT because I could not lift any thing heavier than a loaf of bread. After trying allopathic medicine for a year, the doctors told me that I would never heal so just learn to live with what left arm and leg movement remained. That's when I decided to try massage school. My injuries did start to heal with daily treatments over a years time but I wanted more pain relief and more strength in my arm and leg so I did more research and decided to start acupuncture school. That turned out to be the best decision of my life. Not only did my left arm and leg get well and pain free, (the muscles that had atrophied returned to their pre injury size) and best of all my pain was gone! The biggest blessing of all was that I found my life's passion. I became an acupuncturist and herbalist to share this healing art with my family and friends. At Acupuncture Center of Southern NH, LLC in Nashua New Hampshire, acupuncturist Vicki (Jessop) Irwin, RN, Lic. Experienced as both a Registered Nurse and acupuncturist, Vicki understands and works with both forms of medicine, and acupuncture treatments are conducted in comfortable, private rooms.

Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It has been used safely and effectively to treat a wide range of symptoms, and is now recognized by both the World Health Organization and the National Institute of Health as an effective treatment, either in place of or in conjunction with conventional medicine.

Marcia Nogueira, M.S., L.Ac. has been practicing acupuncture since 2004 and has been in her Thousand Oaks location for the past 7 years. She is a graduate of Samra University of Oriental Medicine where she received her Master's degree in Oriental Medicine. She completed her undergraduate education at UCLA where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology. She is a California board licensed acupuncturist and currently practices both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She has traveled to China to further her studies of Eastern Medicine and completed an internship at the International Acupuncture Training Center in Beijing.
