My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kyung-Hee University in Korea. I have also taught yoga, qi-gong, healing, and meditation in both Korea and the USA. Following in my family's footsteps, I pursued a career in acupuncture and studied Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at South Baylo University in California. Marcia is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Her doctoral work specialized in Family Medicine with an emphasis in pain management and mental health. Her internship began at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2005, after graduation in 2008 she went into private practice treating a wide range of ages and health concerns. She holds a national diplomatic certificate in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as well as a California, Ohio and Illinois state license. She has recently moved to Chicago to open a private practice and looks forward to providing the best patient care possible and to becoming a productive member of the West Loop community.

Sarah became interested in acupuncture as a career during high school. She chose to study physiology at the Lyman Brigg's School of Michigan State University. After undergrad, Sarah continued her education at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, OR. She spent 3 full years learning Chinese Medicine, including anatomy, physiology, Chinese medical theory, western pathology, acupuncture, Chinese herbology, nutrition, shiatsu massage, taichi,
and qigong. She also completed a 1 year internship in her last year of school, where she studied under both Chinese and Western acupuncturists and herbalists. She completed her qigong training with a certification to teach 1000 Hands Buddha Qigong.

These include Chinese medical theory, the treatment of stress, anxiety, and pain, women's health, GI disorders and allergies. She has studied balance method with Dr. Tan, the Mei Zen Cosmetic acupuncture system, the Battlefield Acupuncture protocol for pain management and Chinese language. Most recently she has completed a 3 weekend intensive training in Sports Medicine Acupuncture and is working on completing the ABORM exam for certification in reproductive medicine.

Autumn Jensen L.Ac., MSOM

Autumn graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College with a Masters of Oriental Medicine. She is certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, as well as a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Colorado and a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado. She is also a Nationally Certified Chinese Herbalist. Autumn is trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine along with the Balance Method taught by Dr. Richard Tan, which is very effective in treating pain. Her training included more than 3,000 hours of education and over 1,000 hours of clinical practice.
Autumn also studied in China and received a certificate from the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine Hospital located in Harbin, China. She studied in inpatient and outpatient departments such as Pediatric, OB/GYN, Rehabilitation, Orthopedic, Dermatology, Tuina, Cardiovascular and Neurology.
Autumn chose acupuncture because she values treating the body as a whole, treating each patient as an individual and treating the root of her patient’s problems. She strongly believes in the benefit of preventative medicine and the importance of keeping her patients in balance.
Before finishing her masters, Autumn graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Human Services and worked as a social worker.
