Tamara received her Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture and received advanced training at the Zhejiang
Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China. She is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine and board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, (NCCAOM) a national organization established to regulate the practice of acupuncture. She is also a licensed DOM in Florida.
Tamara has been accepted as a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine. ABORM practitioners have demonstrated competency and advanced knowledge in the field of both Western and Oriental Reproductive Medicine by attending specialized training and passing a rigorous advanced certification examination. The services provided at Integrative Acupuncture integrate approaches from East and West to optimize patient outcomes. “My intent is to work with patients and their physicians to support and complement their IUI and IVF cycles. The two styles of medicine are actually very complementary”.

As a member of the Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine her interest lies in providing counseling for wellness and disease prevention.
Special areas of interest include working with patients experiencing infertility, stress and anxiety, side effects of chemo and radiation therapy and pain management, including musculoskeletal and migraines. Additional specialty training includes the Oncology Acupuncture program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Integrative Medicine Services and advanced infertility training.

Reid is a Florida licensed acupuncturist, having graduated from The Atlantic Institute for Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine. I have been in practice for over 16 years. I am currently practicing in Saguaro Clinic and specialize in pain relief, working with Veterans on a variety of emotional and physical health issues, elder care, cancer treatment support and fertility support. I have 40 years of experience in herbal and nutritional supplement use, including extensive training in Chinese Herbs and Homeopathic remedies.
I combine a variety of acupuncture techniques with nutritional and lifestyle counseling to support your journey to health. I use a stress reduction tool called the BioscanSRT and a cold laser for a needle-free acupuncture experience.
I also use the Bioscan MSA device, a computerized analysis measuring frequencies from acupuncture meridians on the body. A flat probe is used on the fingers and toes to obtain these readings. Since the acupuncture meridians have pathways to organs alongside the nervous system, we can use this method to reach our goal: a balanced system that responds appropriately to stress and increased health.
A reading of 50 indicates that the organ/meridan is balanced. Readings above or below 50 indicate that a chronic or inflammatory process going on with the organ/meridian. Acupuncture, whole food nutrition, homeopathics, and herbal remedies are used to bring the body into balance once again.
