I am a Licensed Acupuncturist by the New Hampshire Board of Acupuncture, and board certified Diplomate of Acupuncture by the NCCAOM. I am also a Registered Nurse with 23 years of clinical experience in local NH hospitals in various specialties such as cardiac, orthopedic, acute and chronic disease, psychology, maternity and preventative care.
I completed my extensive education and training in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine culminating in a Masters Degree in Acupuncture through the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) in Newton, MA.
As an Intern, I practiced Acupuncture at New England School of Acupuncture Teaching Center Clinic, Boston Medical Center Family outpatient center, Winchester Hospital Family Medical Center, Malden Family Medicine Center and Element Care in Lynn, Mass. My extensive training consisted of over 700 hours of direct patient practice.

Tara Akuna is a Registered Acupuncturist practicing beside the majestic seaside in West Vancouver. She graduated from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver and received her diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which includes Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She is a licensed acupuncturist in Texas and Missouri, and is one of the youngest experts of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture in the United States.
