Marcia is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Her doctoral work specialized in Family Medicine with an emphasis in pain management and mental health. Her internship began at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2005, after graduation in 2008 she went into private practice treating a wide range of ages and health concerns. She holds a national diplomatic certificate in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as well as a California, Ohio and Illinois state license. At NESA, Kevork studied both Chinese and Japanese styles of Acupuncture, and also completed the Chinese herbal program. During his time at NESA, completed internships at the NESA school clinic in Watertown MA, and also completed externships at Dimock Community Health Center serving Boston’s urban neighborhoods with acupuncture care. He is Board Certified and licensed to practice acupuncture and herbal medicine in Rhode Island state by the Rhode Island health department. Kevork is also ( Foreign Medical Graduate ). He worked as an MD overseas for many years.

My journey as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner started in 1994 when I met a monk in Taiwan who taught me about meditation, cleansing, food healing, calligraphy and Chinese health practices. For 10 years, I travelled around the world studying natural healing and classical Asian martial arts from various masters, healers and schools.
I graduated from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in British Columbia with a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, modelled after the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine curriculum.
I’ve been in clinic practice for over 10 years in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. I am a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medical Practitioners and Acupuncturists in Ontario under the following number: 2807. I currently see patients at The Village Clinic in Westboro.
I teach weekly Qigong and Chen Style Tai Chi classes at Aylmer Qigong and Tai Chi and I hold regular at workshops, lectures, webinars and events on health and well-being.
