If you've been wanting to try acupuncture but are squeamish around needles, then Japanese acupuncture is a great way to start. The Japanese variety utilizes finer needles - barely thicker than a human hair. Instead of relying on a chart, more emphasis is placed on touch and palpation to find the correct insertion points. Jason Lee Roberg, L.Ac., MSTOM has been in the health and wellness field for almost 20 years. In 2009 Jason received his Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and has continued to learn from and study with many experts and leaders in the field on a variety of different topics. After graduating from Columbia University in New York City with a B.S. in Engineering and Management Systems, I worked for Ernst & Young, Thomson Financial, and other Wall Street firms as a strategy consultant and pharmaceutical compliance analyst.
