We not only treat the current condition; we also focus on and address the underlying causes that prevent a patient from experiencing their full health and well being.

Specialization:

Leslie has a particular interest and passion for using her talent and knowledge in addressing womens health. She feels that many of the common problems faced by women today can be beneficially addressed by the time-honored methods of Oriental Medicine that she has spent so much time studying and practicing. From the issues involved in the changes a womans body undergoes during the processes of childbirth, to those experienced by older women in their golden years, and in all of the years between, Leslie feels that she has the empathy, knowledge, and understanding to help her clients live the happiest and most fulfilled life possible.

John Howard completed his degree in acupuncture from the Maryland Institute of Traditional Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland. John holds two professorships; one in Traditional Chinese Medicine and the other in Western Medicine from George Washington University (GWU). Professor (Prof) Howard lectured on suturing and minor trauma management.

Upon completion of his degree Prof Howard entered into a five-year fellowship with the US military under the direction of Dr. Richard Niemtzow, MD, PHD. Prof Howard is both a clinician and an Academician. As an academician, he provides national and international lectures in acupuncture and auriculotherapy. He has authored five books and 21 articles on these two fields. He is also dedicated to the promotion of knowledge and has been awarded the dissemination of seminal works of Dr. Raphael Nogier (The RAFT (Radial Artery Food Test) and of Dr. René Bourdiol (Elements of Auriculotherapy).

In 2014 Prof Howard served as the vice president of the 8th International Symposium of Auriculotherapy in the United States. In 2016 Prof Howard became a consultant for ZeroMed (a holistic medical goods company) to design auriculotherapy protocols. Currently he is the President of the United States branch of the Raphael Nogier School of Auriculotherapy.



Research

John is currently conducting studies on the use of Auriculotherapy in distance runners to enhance performance. Some of men on team USA who won the world 100k gold medal in the Nederland’s in 2011 used his protocol.

We are dedicated to providing clients with safe and effective treatments for a wide variety of conditions including insomnia, headaches, fatigue, digestive issues, musculo-skeletal injuries and hot flashes to name a few. We work with women and men of all ages and backgrounds. Treatments are designed to be passageways with recurring treatments fine-tuning the health choice directives. Evaluation, clinical ministrations and practiced remedial lifestyle and nutritional choices lead to overall improved health benefits tailored to an individual’s routines and life experiences. Modified behaviors and awareness may prevent injuries for those who engage in intense sports and other rigorous activities. Other clients suffering from chronic health problems, such as autoimmune disorders or diabetes, are often able to reassert control over health management issues previously thought to be ungovernable.

I am a licensed acupuncturist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. I primarily work with people who have athletic injuries, chronic pain, and environmental illness.
