On your first visit you will meet with one of our providers, where you can share your health concerns and they can learn about your unique health and wellness goals. If it feels like the right fit for you, they will perform a thorough examination, including a detailed medical history. The second visit to the office is a chance to review the results of the tests, performed and to present any abnormal findings. You will be given our best recommendation for resolving these problems and reaching your health and wellness goals. I practice East Asian Medicine through acupuncture, herbs, moxibustion, & cupping. I am a certified acupuncturist, certified herbalist and Diplomat of Oriental Medicine. My approach is collaborative. I work with each of my patients on a customized plan towards health and healing. It's my goal to get to the root of the issue.

David Foster is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in Traditional Chinese Medicine, specializing in the treatment of neurological and autoimmune conditions. He earned his Master's degree from Pacific College in 2013, apprenticed for two years under Dr. Frank Butler, studying “Zheng Gui Tui Na” massage, then an additional year with Dr. Clayton Shiu, studying the “Xing Nao Kai Qiao” technique to treat cerebrovascular disorders. Most recently he completed Botanical Biohacking’s Microbiome Mastery course. David holds a black belt in shorin ry’u karate and spent 15 years doing stand-up comedy. His passions include yoga, creative writing and old school hip hop, and he can also accept patients who speak Spanish only.

Anne Barnard is fully qualified and licensed Traditional Acupuncturist. The clinic offers moxibustion, cupping, Gua Sha, Korean hand therapy, Tui Na, magnet therapy and Chinese nutritional therapy alongside traditional acupuncture treatment.

Meeting Point Community Acupuncture is committed to providing the highest quality healthcare experience possible. We strive to make acupuncture an affordable healthcare option for everyone. We do that by offering a sliding scale of $20-$40, you pay what you can afford on that scale (there is an additional $15 fee for your initial visit).
Community Style Acupuncture is acupuncture performed in a community setting, the way it has been practiced in China for thousands of years. Our clinic is modeled after Working Class Acupuncture, a community clinic in Portland, OR. At Meeting Point we have a beautiful semi-private community rooms with several massage tables and recliners. In this setting several people can receive treatments at the same time; this creates a healing energy (Qi). We talk in low voices in the community room in order to respect privacy. By practicing community-style acupuncture we are able to keep prices low so you can afford to receive acupuncture as often as you need to get and stay healthy.
