Dr. Lynda Smith R.Ac.,TCMD.,C.H.,ADS has been in the health field for over 20 years and practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture since 2010.

Meghan is a licensed acupuncturist with national board certifications in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She received her master’s degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she is currently obtaining a doctorate. Her clinical experience includes work at Columbia University Health Services, Mount Sinai-Beth Israel Integrative Oncology, and Housing Works. She travelled to China for advanced study at the International Acupuncture Training Center, an institute recognized by the World Health Organization, with clinical rounds at the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Beijing.

Meghan continues to deepen her skills and knowledge in Eastern medicine, mind-body connection, and energy healing. Her areas of interest include women’s health and gynecological conditions, digestive disorders, stress and anxiety, and pain relief. She supports her patients wherever they are on their healing journey with compassionate listening and commitment to care. Following the Chinese principle of shenming, “radiance of spirit,” her mission is to inspire others to practice self-care and overcome dis-ease by harmonizing body, mind, and spirit.

Rik's focus is reducing stress. eliminating chronic pain, women's health issues, digestive issues, weight loss and control, allergies, migraines and difficult cases of imbalance from unknown origins. He uses acupuncture, electro acupuncture, tuina, CranioSacral Therapy, moxabustion, Chinese herbs, homeopathy, and Medical Qigong in his quest to restore his patients to a state of balance, harmony and health.

Well Woman Acupuncture is the only acupuncture and Chinese medicine clinic in Boulder county that is devoted solely to expertise in women's health. Our team of practitioners have received the highest level of education in Oriental medicine and have advanced certification in reproductive medicine. Conditions we treat include: menstrual disorders, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, insomnia, stress/anxiety/depression and perimenopause/menopause symptoms. We work comprehensively with each patient, evaluating nutrition and lifestyle habits that may hinder progress and making suggestions for improvement. We also work with your physicians to offer truly integrated care, making sure that your course of Eastern treatment works in tandem with your Western diagnoses and treatments.

I opened my acupuncture practice in Salt Lake City in 2009. I enjoy interacting with patients and treating may different conditions. I especially enjoy fertility cases, working with children, and integrating herbal medicine and supplements.
