We are a family oriented acupuncture clinic, treating people of all ages from newborns to seniors. We treat all types of pain, illness, and chronic disease. Some of the more common ailments we treat include frequent colds/flus, depression, anxiety, pain of all kinds, digestive upset, chronic pediatric conditions, and women's health.

My journey as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner started in 1994 when I met a monk in Taiwan who taught me about meditation, cleansing, food healing, calligraphy and Chinese health practices. For 10 years, I travelled around the world studying natural healing and classical Asian martial arts from various masters, healers and schools.

I graduated from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in British Columbia with a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, modelled after the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine curriculum.

I’ve been in clinic practice for over 10 years in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. I am a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medical Practitioners and Acupuncturists in Ontario under the following number: 2807.

I used to teach weekly Qigong and Chen Style Tai Chi classes at Aylmer Qigong and Tai Chi and I hold regular at workshops, lectures, webinars and events on health and well-being.

I also lecture and write on child developmental psychology and behaviour using traditional Chinese medicine. I am the author of the book Democratic Parenting and the creator of The ADHD Transformation Program.

I have advanced training in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Therapy, Dietary Recommendations, Qigong/Tai Chi, and Traditional Chinese Medical Psychology.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is like a timeless conversation between humanity and nature, a dialogue that’s been refining itself for over 80 centuries. Dr. Kimberly Burger began attending acupuncture school in 1994 and graduated from The Academy of Advanced Complimentary Medicine in 1998 with a PhD in acupuncture and homeopathic medicine. Dr. Burger received clinical hours attending an acupuncture school in Columbo, SriLanka. With additional training in Dr. Tans Balance Method, Master Tung style and theory of acupuncture, interning with Dr. Chow Chen, certification in Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture and Macular Degeneration treatments to reverse and prevent continued degeneration of advancing eye diseases, Dr. Burger has a well rounded education with 29 years of clinical experience in the Chinese medical field of Traditional and Pre-Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2011 Dr. Burger moved her practice to beautiful Maui, Hawaii and was licensed in Hawaii in 2015 and has been serving the west side of Maui in Lahaina. In November 2023 after the Lahaina fires, Dr. Burger relocated her practice to Wailea and has added HBOT to her new location.

Dr. Burger uses Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to enhance and expedite the overall results of acupuncture treatments as well as to eliminate inflammation, pain and heal from chronic diseases including long haul covid and vaccine injury. HBOT is also used to enhance and promote collagen and keratin production in anti aging and cosmetic facial acupuncture.

Through the use of fine, micro acupuncture needles along with Clayton Shagal Marine Collagen skin care line, Dr. Burger offers an anti-aging or age reversal facial treatment that will reduce or reverse fine lines and wrinkles, lift and tighten the facial muscles and neck to produce a youthful, healthier and glowing appearance with results that last for up to 5 years post treatment.
