I am a licensed acupuncture physician with a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine. I have passed all national board exams and designated as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM. I am licensed in Florida as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and in New York State as an Acupuncturist. I received my training in California, Florida and in New York. Also, I am a licensed massage therapist in Florida. I studied massage in Orlando at the National Personal Training Institute - focusing on sports and athletic performance massage. Since 2007 I have been on staff at Cirque Du Soleil’s La Nouba as part of their performance medicine team. I am also the massage therapist of record for the Orlando Ballet. Before becoming a massage therapist and an acupuncture physician I spent more than 20 years as a ballet dancer and performing on Broadway. Working as a dancer over those many years resulted in a wide range of injuries, both chronic and acute. I have experienced cortisone injections, knee surgeries, torn muscles, concussions, tendonitis, broken bones, high stress and extremes of fatigue and jubilation. I may not be suffering from the same malady that you are suffering from today, but I can assure you that I understand how hard life can be when your body lets you down. Acupuncture helped me dance until I was forty, it has helped me and my family get through medical traumas and I believe that acupuncture can work magic. I hope you will let me try to work my magic with you.
