Sandy Root, AP, L.Ac., MSTOM, a FL & NY State Licensed Acupuncturist, graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York with her Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2009.
Sandy had clinical experience practicing acupuncture at the Saint Vincent’s Hospital -HIV Clinic, the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases – Initiative for Women with Disabilities, NYU Medical Center, and Pacific College Acupuncture Clinic, and now her own practice in Miami Beach, FL. She is also certified in Constitutional Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.

Our husband and wife dynamic duo have been practicing Traditional Chinese medicine, herbal medicine and acupuncture since 2001. Lee Schwalb, a seasoned NYC acupuncturist licensed in New York State, also holds a board certification as a Chinese Herbalist from the New York Institute of Chinese Herbology. With a Master of Science in Traditional Acupuncture Medicine from the New York College of Health Professions, Lee boasts over two decades of hands-on experience in addressing a broad range of health issues. After working the past 20 years as an Occupational Therapist in a variety of healthcare settings from hospital based rehabilitation clinics to home care service, I became interested in approaching healing from a different perspective in order to help people become empowered about their health on all levels.
