Sarah is an intuitive healer who uses traditional Chinese medicine to treat the underlying root causes of disease pattern and disharmony in the body. Sarah's treatments strengthen the system so that the body can naturally return to a state of balance. This way, as ailments are relieved, signs and symptoms do not return. The patient will be empowered with the knowledge to maintain his or her wellbeing and overall health. Traditional Chinese medicine is unique in its ability to bring success to any treatment plan by means of primary or complementary healthcare. Sarah's particular interests include internal medicine, emotional disorders, women's health, and pain management. She received her master's of science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) at the Pacific College of Oriental College. She is nationally board certified (NCCAOM) in traditional Oriental medicine, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine, and maintains state licensure in acupuncture for both California and New York.

may I take a little of your time to tell you a little of my story? If you answered yes, read on. My introduction to acupuncture was due to a traumatic accident about twenty-two years ago. I injured my left neck/shoulder/arm and sciatic nerve in 1993 so I could not work as an EMT because I could not lift any thing heavier than a loaf of bread. After trying allopathic medicine for a year, the doctors told me that I would never heal so just learn to live with what left arm and leg movement remained. That's when I decided to try massage school. My injuries did start to heal with daily treatments over a years time but I wanted more pain relief and more strength in my arm and leg so I did more research and decided to start acupuncture school. That turned out to be the best decision of my life. Not only did my left arm and leg get well and pain free, (the muscles that had atrophied returned to their pre injury size) and best of all my pain was gone! The biggest blessing of all was that I found my life's passion. I became an acupuncturist and herbalist to share this healing art with my family and friends.
