My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kyung-Hee University in Korea. I have also taught yoga, qi-gong, healing, and meditation in both Korea and the USA. Following in my family's footsteps, I pursued a career in acupuncture and studied Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at South Baylo University in California. As an acupuncturist and hypnotherapist, my goal is to act as a catalyst for positive change in every patient. I specialize in a unique treatment that I refer to as "hypnoacupuncture," which is a combination of acupuncture and hypnotherapy. May Huang completed her Chinese medical degree from Tianjin University (China) of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1987 after 5 years of training. She has 13 years of clinical experience working at Tianjin Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and another 15 years of clinical experience in North York acupuncture clinic in Toronto. Dr. Kimberly Burger began attending acupuncture school in 1994 and graduated from The Academy of Advanced Complimentary Medicine in 1998 with a PhD in acupuncture and homeopathic medicine. Dr. Burger received clinical hours attending an acupuncture school in Columbo, SriLanka. With additional training in Dr. Tans Balance Method, Master Tung style and theory of acupuncture, interning with Dr. Chow Chen, certification in Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture and Macular Degeneration treatments to reverse and prevent continued degeneration of advancing eye diseases, Dr. Burger has a well rounded education with 29 years of clinical experience in the Chinese medical field of Traditional and Pre-Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2011 Dr. Burger moved her practice to beautiful Maui, Hawaii and was licensed in Hawaii in 2015 and has been serving the west side of Maui in Lahaina. In November 2023 after the Lahaina fires, Dr. Burger relocated her practice to Wailea and has added HBOT to her new location.
Dr. Burger uses Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to enhance and expedite the overall results of acupuncture treatments as well as to eliminate inflammation, pain and heal from chronic diseases including long haul covid and vaccine injury. HBOT is also used to enhance and promote collagen and keratin production in anti aging and cosmetic facial acupuncture.
