Xilin F. Jordan is a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, holding an NCCAOM diploma, and licensed in three states. She was born and primarily trained in China, and completed four years of further study in Oriental medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York, where she earned her American degrees and expanded her knowledge of Western medicine as well. In addition, Dr. Jordan absolved a personal apprenticeship with the noted acupuncturist Dr. Zhang Zheng Hai in China, where she continues periodically to work in teams with other doctors at hospitals in Zhu Hai, Shijiazhuang and Nantong, treating conditions such as post-stroke syndromes, Bell’s palsy, muscular disorders, head, back, neck, shoulder and wrist pain, and various chronic diseases. Lindsay Trottier, DACM L.Ac. is a board-certified acupuncturist and doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine practicing in San Diego, CA.
Dr. Trottier first entered the profession of health and wellness as a certified personal trainer and then as a receptionist in an acupuncture clinic. As a competitive student-athlete, Dr Trottier has always been interested in functional movement and healthy recovery. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, she was inspired to begin her training in acupuncture and herbal medicine. In 2015, Dr. Trottier began an apprenticeship with Eileen Han to extend her knowledge of the Balance Method acupuncture made famous by Dr. Richard Tan.
Dr. Trottier has experience helping patients of all ages with sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, digestive complaints, women’s health issues, pre- and post-natal care, cancer-treatment side effects, mental-emotional health, and people with developmental and acquired disabilities.
Her training includes working with NCAA athletes at the UCSD RIMAC center, supporting patients undergoing treatment for various cancers at the UCSD Cancer Center in Encinitas and Rady's Children's Hospital, and caring for children admitted to the Helen Bernardy Center for Medically Fragile Children.
