She is licensed by the State of Florida Department of Health as a Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine, and is qualified to provide Acupoint Injection Therapy and is certified Diplomate of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for AcupunctureOriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In addition to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Carmen has trained in various advanced techniques in Functional Physiology and Bio-Energetic Medicine. These include Total Body Modification, Natural Healing Systems and Functional Nutrition, to name a few.
