Joan has been a compassionate and caring healthcare practitioner for more than 25 years. She began her practice in rehabilitation as an occupational therapist and later pursued acupuncture. Cathy’s journey in the healing arts began at the tender age of 9, exploring martial arts such as Wing Chun Kung Fu, Qigong, and Tai Chi. This early fascination with body mechanics and movement naturally led her into a career in holistic therapies.
Her Shiatsu journey began in 2014 at the Shiatsu College Hastings, where she graduated in 2017 as the youngest practitioner in her cohort. Cathy’s practice is rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and she continuously expands her knowledge to provide the best care for her clients.

Kevork earned his Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA). At NESA, Kevork studied both Chinese and Japanese styles of Acupuncture, and also completed the Chinese herbal program. During his time at NESA, completed internships at the NESA school clinic in Watertown MA, and also completed externships at Dimock Community Health Center serving Boston’s urban neighborhoods with acupuncture care. He is Board Certified and licensed to practice acupuncture and herbal medicine in Rhode Island state by the Rhode Island health department. Kevork is also ( Foreign Medical Graduate ). He worked as an MD overseas for many years.
