Ali Sherbiny, M.Ac.O.M., L.Ac. is a nationally certified and Virginia Board of Medicine-licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a private practice in Arlington, Virginia.

He received his Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ASOM).

His experience includes integrative treatment, community acupuncture, as well as private practice. His practice specializes in the treatment of pain, insomnia, chronic fatigue, and stress-related effects on the body and combines acupuncture with bodywork (Tui Na massage) and cupping to achieve his clinical results.

His continuing education coursework has included study of the Tung family lineage style of acupuncture with Richard Tan, Brad Whisnant, and Henry McCann and food medicine (Chinese & Western Nutrition) with Dr. Ardeschir Mehrabani, NMD, Noemi Quintanar, NMD, RM, MT, and Dr. Marlene Merritt, LAc, DOM, MS Nutrition. Most recently he studied with Thea Elijah, LAc, former director of the Chinese Herbal Studies Program at TAI Sophia Institute, for a deeper understanding and embodiment of 5-element medicine.

Prior to his graduate studies at ASOM, he studied organic farming as an apprentice under a master gardener and worked in organic food sales with Green Star Farms in Blacksburg, VA.

Ali received his B.A. in Sociology from Virginia Tech. He continues to see social and lineage implications to health and healing and loves working with people who have the aspiration to break free from negative psycho-emotional patterns.

Jennifer E. Winer L.Ac. graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Minnesota State University at Mankato in 1998. She worked in the financial field before returning to school to study Oriental medicine in 2000. Jennifer made the decision to pursue a career in Oriental medicine after experiencing chronic pain and trying all of the traditional therapies available without any success. She believed there had to be alternative options for medical care and wanted to help others. Jennifer had some acupuncture for her Chronic pain and it worked! She made it her life's mission to help as many people as she can with this amazing medicine.

She received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Racine, WI on October 4, 2003. During graduate school, Jennifer studied abroad at the Training Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Guangzhou, China and received a certificate in the Advanced Course of Acupuncture of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Jennifer is licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin and is nationally certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is clean-needle technique certified by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Jennifer specializes in infertility, anxiety and pain treatments. She Takes pride in going above and beyond for her patients. She also works with many other conditions.

She has done advanced studying with Chinese medicine and acupuncture for the treatment of Hepatitis C, Facial Rejuvenation, low back pain. Jennifer is a certified Hepatitis C practitioner, certified Facial rejuvenation practitioner and certified level 1 &2 Voila practitioner.

In addition to acupuncture, Jennifer utilizes Chinese herbal therapy, moxibustion, nutritional counseling, auricular therapy, cupping, tui na, and gua sha, and VOILA.

Juliet is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac) in New York and is nationally board certified in Oriental medicine, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine (Diplomate Oriental Medicine – Dipl. OM) by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in New York and earned her Master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) through a four-year graduate program where her degree holds a dual emphasis in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbalism. While she treats a wide variety of complaints, her special interests are pain management (acute and chronic pain,) headaches/migraines, women’s health, and emotional/psychological wellness. Juliet is committed to facilitating her patients’ physical and emotional well-being, and to help them progress towards healing.

As an acupuncturist and hypnotherapist, my goal is to act as a catalyst for positive change in every patient.
