My journey as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner started in 1994 when I met a monk in Taiwan who taught me about meditation, cleansing, food healing, calligraphy and Chinese health practices. For 10 years, I travelled around the world studying natural healing and classical Asian martial arts from various masters, healers and schools.

I graduated from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in British Columbia with a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, modelled after the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine curriculum.

I’ve been in clinic practice for over 10 years in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. I am a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medical Practitioners and Acupuncturists in Ontario under the following number: 2807. I currently see patients at The Village Clinic in Westboro.

I teach weekly Qigong and Chen Style Tai Chi classes at Aylmer Qigong and Tai Chi and I hold regular at workshops, lectures, webinars and events on health and well-being.

I also lecture and write on child developmental psychology and behaviour using traditional Chinese medicine. I am the author of the book Democratic Parenting and the creator of The ADHD Transformation Program.

I have advanced training in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Therapy, Dietary Recommendations, Qigong/Tai Chi, and Traditional Chinese Medical Psychology.

I am a registered doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Dr. TCM) and a registered clinical counsellor (R.C.C.) practicing in Vancouver, B.C.

Miranda is a Licensed Acupuncturist and is certified by the National Certification Commision for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She graduated from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine with her Masters degree in Acupuncture in August of 2014 with over 2200 hours of educational and clinical hours in the practice of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Her practie of acupuncture has evolved with her training and experience with BodyTalk and she has developed a Priority-based acupuncture style that asks the body what it wants to work on. This method has proven to have a greater effectiveness in getting the body back to health and wellness or in maintaining health and wellness while saving you time and money.
